Torque IT Solutions Limited was founded by accomplished experts from within the financial services industry.
Coming out of the industry we were dissatisfied with the system solutions provided by IT suppliers. We felt that there was a disconnect between the business objectives and the IT solutions provided by suppliers who did not truly understand the business needs. Thus we decided to assemble a strong team of individuals who can make a difference delivering superior IT solutions for financiers. We do not replicate legacy processes in our systems but rather design our systems based on best practice processes. We do not only provide you with superior IT solutions but also offer business and process consulting for you to run your business most efficiently.
The three founders bring to the company over 50 years of experience in financial services, and are further supported by an advisory board of current and former Managing Directors, CEOs and Professionals with international and diverse company experience (including Toyota FS, Volkswagen FS, Ally FS, GMAC, Daimler FS and KPMG). Our team has been handpicked by the founders and is spread over our office locations in Auckland, New Zealand, and Berlin, Germany. We pride ourselves in using only the latest technologies and in our best-of-breed development processes for which we have already been recognised by independent organisations such as Microsoft.
Former Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services New Zealand, Holger has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry across various different countries and continents. Holger holds a MBA obtained at University of Cologne (Germany)/ ESADE (Spain) / Universidad Catolica Santiago de Chile, and is a Certified Management Accountant (IMA).
Former Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services New Zealand, Andrew has more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University in Melbourne, and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
Former Business Analyst, Project Manager and Process Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services New Zealand, Frederik has more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Frederik is a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and holds a Bachelor of Science (Business Information Systems) from Berlin School of Economics (Berufsakademie Berlin).
Bernd has more than 25 years experience in the financial services industry having held senior executive positions with Daimler Financial Services, Daimler AG and Abdul Latif Jameel across various countries and continents. Bernd holds a MBA from the University of Wuerzburg/Germany.
